This is a beautiful large Scottish Highland Stoneware lidded bowl which dates to around the 1980s. It is in fabulous condition - and the original plastic retail details sticker is even still present on the lid (as photographed, this label just peels off).
It is decorated all over with a stunning hand-painted design called WILD BERRIES.
This pattern is now discontinued and these vintage pieces are now highly sought after and hard to find.
The design shows a selection of Scottish wild berries and fruits - a really stunning piece.
I have to of these lidded bowls in my Iconic Edinburgh Online Store - of identical shape - but being all hand decorated - the pattern on each is going to be slightly different.
This is a very substantial and collectable piece of pottery - shipping price reflects that there is a good bit of weight to this pot.
It has a diameter at the top is nearly 7 1/2 inches and the height including lid and knop is 5 3/4 inches
Unpacked the weight is 1.4 kg
All my pieces in my store are in perfect condition with no damages.
Probably due to the weight an item for the UK only.
