This is an interesting Edwardian book featuring a selection of photographic images of Japan at the turn of the 20th Century.
It is divided into Chapters: I. Its Water Life II Its crop and flowers III Japanese Landscapes IV Japanese Temples V Japanese Streets and Street Life VI How the Japanese Live. Each chapter is profusely illustrated.
There are a total of 159 pages. The cover is a hardback one with a printed abstract design on the front and back - printed in red. It measures: 19 x 24.5 x 1.5 cm
It is in good antique condition with no inscriptions, scribbling or previous owners names. No foxing. All the images are present, Nice clean copy. The spine is intact. There is a very slight bit of time tone to the endpapers - but that is the only issue with this fine first edition copy.
