The plate did not have a hallmark, and I was disappointed. I thought I had purchased an original piece
I am sorry to read that my customer was disappointed with her purchase and I have offered her a full refund - but she has decided it is a pretty plate and wishes to keep it. I do offer all customers a no quibble refund if they are disappointed with any item I sell. I did list 13 images of the plate including the back of the plate. My customer did not check all the images. There was no printed mark or backstamp (not a hallmark) for the maker on the back and this was photographed. I have owned these plates in my personal collection for 30 years and they are indeed original vintage Aquarius plates. I have sold many of these plates over the years and first time I had anyone disappointed with one. I thougt I would respond to this review as it was sold as depicted and described by me. If folk dont look at all the images I post then this is what can often happen.
All the same I never like to read anyone is unahppy with an item they have bought from us - we are not in the business to make anyone unhappy. We pride ourselves in our good customer services.
A striking red and silvered black glass vase of classic design and in good condition for its age. It is a great addition to my collection and stands out very well. As always a superb service and my vase was very well packed.

I have been collecting Paul Daniels tricks for a very long time and have been searching for certain packs of his cards in excellent condition. Thanks to Iconic Edinburgh I have finally found the 1979 playing cards for my collection. Valerie couldn’t have been more helpful when I was trying to buy this vintage abacus. It arrived in very good condition and is the perfect addition to my Old School House holiday let (to join the blackboard, rocking horse and antique school desk).

Finding it difficult to screw metal disc inside lamp. But quite nice
Thank you for taking the time to mention this issue. I am certainly sorry to hear that you had some trouble screwing the little holding ring to secure the lamp to the bulb holder. Sometimes if you dont get this flush or flat on the thread - it might give a little problem. We always remove glass shades on lamps in transit and pack into a padded separate box all inside the sturdy outer box. This is so the delicate glass on the neck of the shade is not subject to movement in transit and it is packed away from the metal sections of the lamp for its safety. It is often quite a shoogle on contents in transit. But glad you have managed to pop the shade back on the lamp and that you are happy with it, and indeed all other aspects of our service. This is good news! Many thanks for your feedback. We will take what you have said on board - and perhaps we will write to customers in future to tell them we plan to remove the shade to keep it safe in transit. I understand that not everyone has nibble fingers so we will address this with future sales based on your current experience. All the best Valerie X
I kept my fingers crossed these would arrive intact. They were perfect - probably because they were packed so well and couldn't move an inch! Thank you, Valerie, for your efforts. I haven't held a Babycham glass before and having the older white deer ones to choose from makes it all the more interesting. Looking forward to some festive fun.

Lovely vintage glass lampshades, delivered fast, in excellent condition. Very good service.
A beautiful print, well mounted in conservation-grade mount board, looks absolutely splendid. The print arrived via tracked courier in perfect condition having been expertly wrapped and packed in a very safe and robust box. Communication with the Seller was excellent and Valerie couldn’t have been more helpful or better prepared in dealing with my order. It has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish and I cannot recommend Iconic Edinburgh highly enough. Top class service!
