I love this lovely wall charger which was made for Crown Ducal by Charlotte Rhead and is fully signed on the back, as photographed.
It is the much sought-after Byzantine pattern (No. 2681). This dates this charger to around 1932 - 1941.
It is a fine design with raised tube lines decoration and with an attractive all-over floral pattern with olive green leaves - and lots of pretty yellow and orange flowers
It is a medium size - measuring 12 1/2 inches in diameter (31.5 cm).
There are two holes in the charger on the back so that you can hang it for display on your wall. It is also fully marked on the back with the decorator's mark, a facsimile CRhead signature, and the pattern number.
A lovely decorative piece of Charlotte Rhead ceramics from the 1930s - the design is a timeless one and it remains as stylish today as it was when first made.
It is sold in excellent vintage condition with no damages, cracks or chips.
