These are a lovely pair of original late 19th-century Staffordshire-style lions. These pair are just fabulous and date to around the 1880s.
They are genuine antique examples and are NOT reproduction pieces. They are both in excellent condition with no damage. They are very decorative and will look fabulous in a period interior.
I have another single lion listed in my online store - but with differently coloured teeth. These are all Scottish Lions - and made at the Bo'ness Pottery in Central Scotland.
Other examples are illustrated in the animals section of the Bo'ness Pottery Website.

I love their crazy exposed canary yellow teeth and red lips - almost like they are laughing. Both lions retain their original glass eyes. They are a beautiful glowing tan or warm russet colour - with full manes - expressive faces and a regal pose.
They are large and heavy models - each being 14 inches wide - with a height of 10 inches and a depth of about 6 inches (at the widest). Each weighs a stonking 3.3 kg each.... unpacked!
They are a really lovely substantial and highly decorative pair - and listed at a very fair price.
Sadly, due to their weight - they would have to be posted to the UK only.
For the safety of the lions - I would probably send them to you as two large separate parcels with Parcelforce48 - to keep them nice and safe in transit - hence the slightly higher postage costs. Each parcel would cost £10 each, so a grand postal cost of £20. This will be applied to your order at the checkout.
