On offer is this hard-to-source set of mid-century ceramics.
They were made by Wade Pottery in the 1950s and are probably more specialist items that a Wade collector might wish to add to their collection.
I am listing EACH TRIO separately - but have photographed as a group to four that I have. (Now three - one has sold!)
Each trio is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are very tiny areas of craquelure here and there to the glossy glaze - often found on these pieces - not disfiguring or noticeable on display. Although the trios can be used - they might be better as china cabinet display pieces. A Wade collector will know how difficult this pattern is to find.
The pattern is a very rare one and features an abstracted pattern of leaves and large red berries / rosehips on the front of the teacup and also on the side plate. The saucer is plain shiny black with the central cup reservoir section left white. The interior of each cup is shiny black.
You do not see this pattern come up for sale very often - and hardly every four matching trios - as photographed.
Dimensions: The side plate is 6 1/4 inches in diameter. The saucer is 5 3/4 inches and the teacup is 2 1/2 inches in height with a diameter at the rim of 3 1/2 inches.
I am pricing each trio (cup, saucer, and side plate) at a very fair price of £25 each.
THREE ARE NOW AVAILABLE IN TOTAL.
Postage in the UK will be £5.50 with Royal Mail Recorded post - and this will be applied at the checkout.
