Swan Lake was designed for Hornsea Pottery in 1977 by Martin Hunt and Colin Rawson. The design received the Design Council Award and is now featured in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
The series is called Swan Lake as pieces with lids often feature little abstract swan finials.
This is a very stylish jug in the Swan Lake series. The colour is an off-white / pale grey with a satin finish on the outside and a slightly more glossy glaze inside.
It is a beautiful minimalistic shape with a raised pattern of concentric circles.
It is a larger-sized jug in the range and measures about 3 3/4 inches in height. From handle to spout it is 7 inches. It will probably hold about 500 ml of liquid.
It is in perfect condition with no damages. It will be sent to you Recorded Delivery with the Royal Mail - this will cost £4.95 and applied to your order at the check out.
