Being Scottish - I am obviously very keen on Edinburgh Crystal drinking glasses. However, these Rogaska Glasses are of similar exceptional quality - and are harder to source, especially in this large size. They probably date to around the 1980s or 1990s.
On offer here is a SET OF SIX glasses. I have them priced at £40 each glass (plus a wee discount for six of them), which is a fair price for large Gallia design water goblets.
I have this rarer set of six listed in my shop, two more pairs, and two decanters.
These are made by Rogaska Crystal of Yugoslavia and are a fine large size with a good bit of weight to each glass. They will be special celebrations glasses for imbibers of fine red wine. These glasses are premium crystal pieces of barware - and Rogaska Crystal is certainly considered a very chic luxury brand.
They are really so beautifully made- and I have taken lots of images for your inspection of all the detailing on each glass. The bowl of each glass has a deeply engraved criss-cross pattern - and further up are polished circular facets - and engraved flowers. The is a decorative knop at the top of the stem - and the stem is hexagonal in shape with little saw-tooth decorations along each faceted side.
With such an intricate and very busy all-over decoration - it has been hard for me to photograph them. They look even more stunning in "real-life".
Each glass measures: 9 1/4 inches in height - with a diameter of 3 1/4 inches. The height of the bowl is 5 inches. The stem is 4 1/4 inches high The foot is 3 1/8 inches in diameter - so stonkers!
They will be shipped to you in the UK. I will cap the postage at just over £10 and they will be sent to you using Parcelforce24 - and this will be applied to your order at the checkout stage.
