This is a lovely piece of vintage 1960s or early 1970s Mdina Glass.
It was made on the Island of Malta. It is also signed to the base: Mdina
It is a very attractive chunky bottle vase and has its original matching ball stopper. I love the vibrant yellow-green body colour and the thick ribbon trails of blue around the neck section - this pattern is called sea and sand - and is reminiscent of the seas around the island.
Dimensions: Overall height including stopper is 7 3/4 inches. The height of the bottle itself is 6 inches. Length of the stopper is 3 1/4 inches. The diameter of the stopper is 2 inches.
Weight unpacked is nearly 1 kg.
