This is such a beautiful piece of antique Scottish Silver jewellery.
It is a large pendant measuring 2 3/4 inches (including the little loop at the top). At the widest it is just over 2 inches. The fancy chain is 18 inches in total length. It is a nice long chain - and the pendant will sit just below your neck. The silver is nice and thick and has a good weight to it.
My Iona Cross pendant was made by the silversmiths Gilmore and Watson of Oban. It has a Glasgow hallmark for 1919. The workmanship in this piece is rather exceptional with knotwork decoration all over the cross shape on the front. The back is highly polished (and without any scratches). There are no damages to it.
The chain is a decorative one - and very strange it looks like it is made up of links embellished with reef knots. It is a good length - measuring up at 18 inches in total. It has a wee hook and ring fitting for its closure.
It is antique - but in exceptional condition. Clean and shiny with no issues. It will be sent to you in a little gift box.
I will be capping UK postage at £5.50 - and shall make up the difference so that I can send it to you with Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery (fully insured and tracked).
