This is a very stylish modernist West German ring made of silver with an open band with tapering silver tips. The central design consists of an amoebic shape which resembles a single flower head.
It is an iconic design and is marked within the band: Sterling W Germany.
It is beautifully made and nice and chunky - as you can see in my photographs - and it measures UK Ring Size S on my ring sizer. It is a nice larger size - and with the hoop being open has a little room for expansion.
It appears to be a handmade ring and made in Germany. On stylistic ground I am dating this ring to the 1960s and suggesting that is might have been designed by Franz Scheurle at the famous German Jewellery company. The layered sections of silver forming the decoration and the open ring hoop at the back are often found on his rings. I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
It is lovely and clean and in excellent vintage condition. It will be sent to you in a good quality ring box for safekeeping.
UK Postage will be capped at £5.50 - this will be for Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and applied to your order at the checkout.
