This is a fine mid-century 1930s or 1940s glass plafonnier lampshade.
It has an opaque mottled pretty sugar pink main body colour. There are little areas of coloured brown swirls in the glass - and this reminds me a little of toffee swirls that you might find in caramel ice cream. It has a nice shape with stepped rings on the bottom of the shade giving further interest to it. The pink colour gives a nice warm glow to your interior when lit up.
I have taken a lot of images for your inspection.
The shade comes complete with chains that attach onto the hooks on the shade.
It is called a goldfish bowl shade - and is also known by its cheeky nickname a "flycatcher" shade.
The shade is in excellent condition with no nasty chips or cracks in the glass.
It is a nice larger size - it has a diameter of 13 1/2 inches and a height of 5 inches. The interior aperture inside is 10 inches.
It will be sent to you in the UK using Parcelforce24. This will be applied to your order at the checkout.
