This is a lovely vintage model of a little donkey who is just about to jump and kick up his back legs. It dates to the mid-1970s.
It is a fine piece from the Kosta Boda glass from the Zoo Series - which features stylised animals - made in clear glass - often with flat backs. This stylised ram or mountain goat was designed by Bertil Vallien.
In excellent vintage condition with no damages.
The figurine is 3 3/4 inches in height. The width is 5 1/2 inches and the depth is 1 1/4 inches.
As you can see from my photographs - the detailing and modelling are very detailed and certainly beautifully rendered.
A nice fair price for this vintage piece of collectable Swedish art glass.
