These are hard to find antique Scottish pottery miniature milk and sugar bowls.
They each have a matching pattern with white prunus flowers on a pink background around the rim.
I have a couple of teapots in this pattern on offer on my online site.
They date to around the 1920s / 1930s and are hand-painted.
They are painted on pottery "blanks" - and are signed on the base: Mak Merry
The china blanks were probably made and supplied by Maling and Sons, Newcastle-on-Tyne.
Dimensions: the milk jug is 1 3/4 inches in height and the handle to spout is 3 inches. The diameter at the widest point is 2 3/4 inches (£25). The open sugar bowl is 2 inches in height and with a diameter at the rim of just over 3 1/4 inches. (£25).
CONDITION: They are in a fine vintage condition and display well.
These are such lovely Mak Merry ceramics - and they are listed at a fair price for these vintage Scottish Art Pottery pieces.
