This is a very pretty and delicate pair of Ortak Silver and Enamel earrings - for pierced ears.
They are certainly beautiful earrings made of 925 Silver and embellished with sky-blue enamel.
These are vintage silver Pat Cheney earrings and probably date to the 1980s.
There is a contemporary pair following this earlier blue design but with a later green enamel (EE 783). These green ones are illustrated on her website.
These vintage Cheney's Art Nouveau-inspired designs- as the little jingling silver tassel addition at the bottom is often found on Cheney's pieces from this time. As you can see from my photographs - they are just so exquisite and will look stunning when worn.
They are for pierced ears and come with a good-quality hook - this allows the earrings to move about when worn.
They are a nice larger size. The main body section measures 3 cm by 3 cm. The length of the main body section to the bottom of the tassel drop is 4.5 and overall from the top of the hook to the bottom of the drop is about 6 cm.
These earrings are beautifully made - and show great craftsmanship. I have taken several photographs for your inspection.
The set comes in a vintage Ortak presentation box - the top of the box is black plastic (as used in the 80s) and the interior has a black silk lining on the lid stamped in gold Ortak. The box is in good vintage condition - nice and clean with no scratches to it.
The earrings are all nice and clean with no issues - they are in "as new" condition and have not been worn. There would be no hygiene issues with them.
