This is a lovely vintage 1970s Guzzini Style White Plastic & Chrome Mushroom Hanging Ceiling Light.
It is a very good quality light and is probably a Prova Italian design made in the UK for BHS. It has a Rolly Made in Italy rise and fall mechanism inside. The Rolly rise and fall pulley mechanism is an olive green colour (it has some old paint on it from an old decoration job - this is an emulsion and would be easy to clean off is you wished - but the paint would be hidden inside the deep black plastic rose cup, again as shown).
This one has a rise and fall cable - as mentioned above - the cable is curly around the main flex and covered with a black woven textile cloth. It also has a chrome handle coming out of the bottom - this is to help pull the light down if you wish to lower it - let's say on a dining table - and raise it up when the table is not in use. The electric cable is a two-core one, as photographed.
The light is in good vintage condition - with no apparent damages. A lovely genuine 1970s shade - you won't be disappointed with it.
Dimensions: The diameter at the widest point is 12 inches. The height is 8 inches. It has a minimum (unstretched) drop of about 27 inches. So hope this helps you to decide if it will fit into your interior.
The size of my lovely shade makes it slightly more expensive to post - but it will be packed in a large sturdy box to ensure safety in transit. It will also be fully insured against loss or damage in transit. This will cost £10 and applied to your order at the checkout.
