This is a pretty little antique 1920s Scottish Monart Glass Bowl.
It is really sweet of miniature size - and is a little shallow dish with a nice flat rim section. I love the colours - the main body reservoir section is a mottled sky blue - and the rim section is a clear yellow shade. There is fleck of gold aventurine in the rim section. The base is polished and there is a small raised pontil mark in the center, as you commonly find on Monart wares. The bowl would have originally had a round paper label on this raised pontil - but this has come off over the decades. It is definitely a piece of Monart glass and is being sold as such.
As you can see from my photographs - it is a lovely tactile piece and sits very nicely in your hand. It looks great on display. It is in perfect condition with no damage of any kind.
I have taken lots of images were taken for your inspection.
