This is a fine set of six matching vintage Edinburgh Crystal STAR OF EDINBURGH PATTERN champagne flutes. These glasses are always sought after. I have listed them at a very fair price of £15 each glass.
The Star of Edinburgh pattern is a classic one, first introduced by Edinburgh Crystal in 1948.
They are maked with an etched Made in Scotland / Edinburgh signature, as photographed. This mark was first used in 1955 up to the early 1980s. They are first class glasses with a good weight to them and fine cutting of the pattern.
They are in excellent vintage condition with no damage to them - indeed, they look just as if they have never been used. They have a lovely ring to them - lovely glasses!
They measure as follows: 6 1/4 (16 cm) in height. The rim has a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. The foot is just over 2 3/4 inches. When tapped they have a beautiful ring, which is a mark of quality.
