This is a great old display item - a very large shop display glass bottle - used to advertise Moet & Chandon Champagne.
It dates to the later part of the 20th century - and has a Royal Warrant crest for Her Majesty the Queen.
It is a fatice or dummy bottle.
It has a distinctive label and foil label and cork still in place.
The bottle is a large size being about 24 1/2 inches in height and with a diameter of 6 1/2 inches.
This is a Mathusalem size - and it would have contained about 6 litres of the lovely nectar (or 8 standard size bottles)!
The bottle of course is empty - and was never designed to hold any contents (boo hoo!)
It should be considered an interesting display item for a shop or if you have a business, one that organizes special parties or events.
As you can see from my photographs - this mock-up is in excellent condition with no damages to the label or foil cap etc. No chips or damages to the glass.
