I love this lovely wall charger which was made for Crown Ducal by Charlotte Rhead and is fully signed on the back, as photographed.
This is the second example of this charger that I have had in my store - the first one has long been sold.
It is the very pretty Persian Rose pattern that was designed by Charlotte Rhead. It is pattern No. 4040 as annotated on the back and dated to the 1930s - so a lovely Art Deco example.
It is a fine design with raised tube lines decoration and with an attractive all-over floral pattern with large yellow, pink, and blue flowers and lots of olive green leaves.
It is a medium size - measuring 12 1/2 inches in diameter (31.5 cm).
A lovely decorative piece of Charlotte Rhead ceramics from the 1930s - the design is a timeless one and it remains as stylish today as it was when first made.
It is sold in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, or chips. It still retains an old wire hanging which I might try to remove on request it you wished - but with the old hanging it would be ready for you to hang straight on your wall
