This is a large decorative antique Staffordshire figurine.
It is a genuine 19th-century issue and NOT a reproduction.
The model shows a gentleman and a pretty lady dressed in period costume. I think that they have been either out harvesting or gathering firewood for kindling. The lady carries a bundle of reeds or corn on her head - and the gentleman appears to be holding a jug.
It is in good antique condition - generally a nice clean model, as you can see in my photographs.
It is a certainly large display piece - which you would have displayed on a Victorian kitchen dresser or mantlepiece.
This is a more common antique Staffordshire figure - and despite its large size, it has a more affordable asking price - to take this into account. I have other variants of this model available in my store.
It measures some 12 1/2 inches in height and is 7 1/2 inches wide - with a depth of 3 inches.
It weighs 1.7 kg - so sadly there is no international postage.
Postage in the UK would be £10 with Parcelforce - and this would be applied to your order at the checkout.
