This is a rare and vintage Marx TV-Tinykin Figurine. It is one of four that I have in my store featuring characters from the popular 1960s TV cartoon show: The Flintstones. This is an early piece of merchandising for the show - as it was first shown at the end of 1960. This is a miniature plastic model of Dino the Dinosaur and dates to 1961 (Made in Hong Kong). The figure is so tiny - hence the name of this TV Tie-In Series: Tinykins.
Dino is shown looking rather goofy. He is a dark green colour with lighter green spots on his body. The colours on the figure have all been hand-painted. Dino is in his original retail box - this is open at the from so you can clearly see him. The box on the back tells you that Dino is the Flintstone's baby pet dinosaur. Everyday when Fred comes home from work, Dino runs to him and picks him up.
The figure and box are both in very good condition. I have taken photographs of each side of the box for your inspection. The figure is about 1 1/4 inches in height. The box is 2 1/2 inches in height. The width is just under 1 1/2 inches wide and the depth is 1 inch.
The box is generally fair condition - there are two little tears to the front - one on the bottom right hand corner - and the other on the top left hand corner. Apart from that generally fine with no fading etc.
Given that the condition of both (and taking into account the little issues with the box) my price will be reduced from £25 down to £20 - this is certainly a very fair one.
The model will be carefully packed and sent to you with Royal Mail 2nd Class postage to keep your costs down.
