This is a collectible limited edition Steiff Bear - made to celebrate the Royal Wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton in 2011. It is from a limited edition of only 1500 issued and is EAN 663338.
This one is very sweet and called the William and Catherine Bear or as it was nicknamed.... the Catherine Bear.
The Royal Wedding Bear is listed at a very fair price. It is boxed and has its original certificate of authenticity. Catherine Bear has always been kept in her box - and is in really excellent condition. I have taken lots of photographs for you to assess the bear's condition.
It is very adorable - and is a delicate soft peach colour (the pale peach tone is not so obvious in my photos) with a long and very soft mohair coat. This blonde / peach issue with the gold nose and hearts - is rarer and hard to source. This is reflected in my asking price which is a very fair one. The versions with black noses are more common.
Catherine Bear's felt paw is decorated with two intertwined golden hearts. The little retired edition bear also has a gold nose and her large bow is embroidered with the names of the Royal Couple. My bear is No. 62 out of a limited edition of 1500 issued.
It is a nice cute size at 27 cm in height.
