This is an original set of postcards - which you would have purchased on a visit to the Empire Exhibition in Glasgow in 1938.
The postcards were sold as a set in a little brown paper envelope with an image of the Red Lion and Tait's Tower on the front.
They were made by Valentine's Postcards of Dundee.
There are a total of 12 in the original set - but there seems to have been an additional four added - so we are totally 16 cards.
All are in good vintage condition - with no writing on the back etc.
Some of the images are rarer ones:
The cards show as follows: the Wool Pavilion; the Ireland and Australis Pavilions; Lake Fountains, the Royal Party at An Clachan; the Scottish Avenue; Bandstand and Tower; North Cascade and Tower; South African Pavilion; North Cascade & Palace of art; Kingsway; Dominions & Colonial Avenues; Palace of Engineering; North Cascade & Tower; The Lake Illuminations; Atlantic Restaurant; Lake Fountains & Colonial Avenues.
