This is a fine old Art Deco 1930s glass plafonnier lampshade.
It is an opaque white colour - which is speckled in the glass with tutti-frutti colours - mainly random spots of lime greens and purple splatters.
This one is particularly stunning - as the speckling is very busy - and love the ribbing around the sides - there is a little nipple raised area on the centre of the shade which forms a little decorative feature when viewed from below.
Come with original hanging chains and hooks or fittings on the shade - as photographed.
It is called a goldfish bowl shade - and is also known by its cheeky nickname as a "flycatcher" shade.
This one is in good vintage condition - and comes with its original metal hanging fittings - and long silver-coloured white metal chains. These are a long size - each hanging chain measuring about 1 metre in length - of course, could easily be shortened to the desired length.
The shade would also need a wee fitting for you to hang from your ceiling rose - very easy to source at a DIY store or online.
The shade is in excellent condition with no chips, nibbles or cracks.
It is a nice larger size - it has a diameter of 12 inches (30 cm) and has a height of just under 5 inches. The three chains are each 40 inches in length.
It will be sent to you in the UK using Parcelforce48 postage - which is a tracked service.
