This is a fine piece of British studio glass, probably by Stevens and Williams / Royal Brierley and dating to the 1930s
It is called "threaded glass" - as the clear glass body has little threads or trails of aquamarine blue glass - pulled through it. It also has an extra embellishment - being covered with lots of oval-shaped dimples, sometimes referred to as a golf ball pattern.
The vase is of ovoid shape and is about 8 inches in height, and with a diameter of 6 inches at its widest part.
Unpacked it is 1 kg in weight.
In good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
Looks nice on display with light behind it which brings of the detail of the threads.
Fair price for this fine British Art Deco art glass vase.
