This is a nice piece of mid century British Whitefriars Glass - a fine display piece for a stylish mid century interior.
It is 8 inches in height and has a diameter of 7 1/2 inches at the rim. The base has a diameter of 4 inches.
The vase is reminiscent of a flared bucket and has moulded slightly raised ribbon decoration twirling around the exterior of the vase.
There is a typical indented Whitefriars' polished pontil mark on the base (as photographed).
This piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
It weights in at 1.2 kg unpacked.
It was rather difficult to photograph - so hope that my images have done this fine piece of glass justice!
