This is very hard to find large serving bowl - it would be great for serving salads in or perhaps piled high with bread rolls.
It was made in the 1960s by the Norwegian company Figgjo Flint, as part of their Turi range.
The serving bowl features the highly collectable and much sought-after pattern Clupea - or Herring Design.
Running around the outer rim is a pretty design that features a shoal of little stylized blue fishes swimming about nose to tail - and with a slightly atomic pattern made up of what looks like flower heads and onions.
The bowl is really large and substantial - it measures 5 1/2 inches in height, and with a diameter of 8 5/8 inches.
It weighs 1.4 kg - it would have to be sent to you as a medium parcel with Royal Mail - this would cost about £6.95
The bowl is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks - there is one tiny little light beige spot in the interior near the rim, as photographed.
