This is a fabulous space-age design - a stylish mid-century Japanese ice bucket.
Great minimalistic lines. The chrome finish is excellent with a mirror finish - it is in excellent condition with no dents or nasty scratches. As you can see in my photographs... looks totally amazing.
It has a swing handle - which moves back and forward - this is made of metal with a hard polished black handle section on the horizontal.
Not such a large area inside - so probably one more for having filled with ice cubes that you add to your drinks and glasses.
It is made in Japan as marked on the base - it is has a maker's logo on the front: Tiger
It is mirrored chrome inside and with its original white plastic liner -
It is 7 1/2 inches in height (including knop on the lid) and with a diameter at the widest point is 5 3/4 inches
Unpacked it is 1 kg in weight.
Lovely and clean - no nasty scratches, discolouration or smells etc - as nice as you might expect to find. You won't be disappointed with it.
I have owned this particular piece for many years - and never used it - as "kept it for good".
A very fine piece of mid-century design - would look great in a modernist interior -
