This is a very pretty little late 19th-century flower vase - which takes the form of a fan tail dove.
It was made by Minton - and has a Victorian lozenge mark on the base, as photographed.
The main body section of the dove is blanc de chine - with touches of polychrome colouring on the base and the foliage behind the dove.
It is in lovely antique condition and has no damages.
These antique dove flower vases are now very difficult to source - especially the ones with little pieces of Majolica colouring added.
The dove's tail is spread out into a decorative circular fan shape - and the tail is separated and divided into sections or pockets which you can fill with water and put in single flower heads or blooms.
My beautiful dove is in lovely condition as you can see.
Measures about 6 1/2 inches in height and is 6 inches wide.
