This is a nice antique black lacquer papier mache snuff box.
It is 19th century in origin and is in excellent antique condition.
The box is oblong in shape - with a decorative white metal inlay on the lid.
The lid is hinged. There is a little distress to the metal of the hinges - as photographed. But this is only noticeable on close-up inspection and does not interfere with the integrity of the hinge. This issue is reflected in my asking price for this lovely little snuff box.
