This is a cute antique 19th century Staffordshire figurine, and it dates to around the 1880s.
It is quite naive in its modelling - and does not have the same attention to detail as some other examples - this is reflected in my low asking price.
The figurine consists of a Victorian couple out and about in the countryside. They have stopped at a water well - and are seen filling up water pots. Above the couple is a fruiting vine with burgundy and purple grapes.
This is a pretty example and is in fairly good condition. It has no damages to the main body of the figurine. There is the smallest of hairline cracks to the central section of the arch, as photographed - this is commensurate with age - but has remained stable for decades.
It is diminutive in size. Dimensions: Height is 7 3/4 inches. Width is 5 inches and the depth is 2 inches.
