This is a very collectable antique skills game called The Silver Bullet.
It dates to 1914 and was made by R. Farmer & Sons.
The game basically involves carefully guiding a steel ball-bearing along a track - and trying to avoid a series of pitfalls along the way to Berlin.
It is a game of dexterity. Details of the rules and penalties of play are detailed on the original instructions label on the back.
It is now becoming hard to find an example in such a nice condition as this one. The game has a wooden frame, glass front panel, ball bearing inside, and intact instructions label. It is nice and clean and in lovely condition given that it is now over 100 years old.
Dimensions: 9 1/2 inches in height x 6 1/2 inches wide. The height is an inch (24 x 16.5 x 2.5 cm). Weight unpacked is 430 grams.
