This is such a beautifully made little vintage Danish bottle opener - which would be used to open or take off the metal cap on a bottle of Carlsberg.
It was probably presented in the early 1970s as an advertising promotion
These little openers are very rare - and you certainly do no come across them very often.
As you can see in my photograph - the opener section is made of brushed steel - and the other side is a lovely grained wood - which is probably rosewood.
There is also a little drilled hole in the opener from which hangs a pretty silk tassel.
It comes in its original little presentation box, as photographed.
