I love these little pair of Rosental Espresso Love Cups. They are made in the Cupola Shape - and are decorated with comical Cubist designs by the German artist Otmar Alt. They date to the 1980s.
On offer here are the two cups as photographed. These miniature cups sit together as a little "loving" pair on a single conjoined saucer. Perfect for a couple's morning snip of coffee.
Each cup measure 2 1/2 inches in height and has a diameter for just over 2 inches.
The single shared saucer is just under 7 inches in length and 4 inches side.
Both are in excellent condition with no damages. They look like they have never been used. They come with their original retail box - which is slightly shabby but most acceptable clean condition.
Each cup shows Picasso-like figures out in a garden setting. There are clouds, trees and an airplane flying in the sky.
These little vintage 1980s love cups by this artist are very rare and much sought after - this is reflected in my asking price.
