This is another pretty piece of floral Poole that is in my store, It dates to the 1930s and is hand-painted.
It has an impressed Carter, Stabler and Adams mark (very light on the base.)
It has a pink-tone clay base that you might expect with Carter, Stabler & Adams pieces - and also has the stamped marks, as photographed. The impressed mark was used on items made between 1925 and 1934.
The is in good vintage condition; no nasty chips, cracks, or restoration. It has a plain cream-coloured eggshell glaze inside and a couple of little light stains but nothing disfiguring and again photographed for your inspection. It certainly displays well.
The bowl is 3 2/4 inches in height - and the diameter is 5 1/2 inches at the widest.
The interest in the early 20th-century pieces of Poole is currently in the ascendant.
Postage will be with Royal Mail Recorded Delivery - this will cost £4.95 and applied to your order at the checkout.
