This is a lovely antique pale yellow Ruskin Pottery Candlestick.
It is one of two candleholders that I have in my store. The other one is a powder blue with mustard glazes.
It dates to the 1920s. It has a circular cup within the neck section. This is where you insert your candle. The stem of the candlestick sweeps down to a spreading circular base with an overall lustrous mottled yellow glaze and with added subtle pale blues applied in speckles.
The base has an impressed mark RUSKIN and the date is 1923.
It measures 6 1/2 inches in height. It is 4 1/2 inches in diameter at its widest point on the base. The candle sconce section is just over 1 3/4 inches in diameter. The aperture for the candle is 3 /4 inch.
It is in good condition with no damage. I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
The candlestick would have to be sent to you in the UK with Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. The price for this service would be capped at £4.95 and applied to your order at the checkout.
