This is a limited edition Steiff Bear. He dates to 2004 and is EAN 661662.
He is a larger size - measuring 33 cm in height. He is boxed and comes with an original certificate. He is from a limited edition of ONLY 1500 bears. My bear is number 01158.
He has a soft mohair coat - which is a lovely light grey shade. He is fully jointed and can be posed. He is called Captain Mach - and is dressed as the pilot of the Concorde airplane. He has embroidered images of the Statue of Liberty and Big Ben on his paws - commemorating all the flights between the two cities.
My bear is in pristine condition and has always been kept in his box. There is no fading to his fur, the pads are totally clean - Mr Bear is fresh with no dust etc. Perfectly clean and unplayed with. You won't find one in a nicer condition. Sadly - he has lost his little Concorde pin or badge which would be been pinned onto his tie. I am reducing my price for this one to take this into account.
