This is a pretty little antique 1920s Scottish Monart Glass Bowl.
The round bowl is made of opaque aqua-green mottled glass. There is a lot of clear glass in the main body section of the bowl. The rim is mostly clear with lots of speckles of gold aventurine flakes in it that twinkle in the light. The base is polished and there is a large ground pontil mark in the center. The bowl would have originally had a round paper label on the base but this has come off over the decades. It is definitely a piece of Monart glass and is being sold as such.
As you can see from my photographs - it is a lovely tactile piece and sits very nicely in your hand. It looks good on display. It is in perfect condition with no damages of any kind.
I have taken lots of images were taken for your inspection.
