This is a pretty little antique 1920s Scottish Monart Glass Bowl.
The round bowl with straight sides. It is made of opaque aqua-green mottled glass. There are a lot of black speckles to the rim with a little drop of flecks of gold aventurine flakes in it that twinkle in the light. The base is polished and there is a small raised pontil mark in the center, as you commonly find on Monart wares. The bowl would have originally had a round paper label on this raised pontil - but this has come off over the decades. It is definitely a piece of Monart glass and is being sold as such.
As you can see from my photographs - it is a lovely tactile piece and sits very nicely in your hand. It looks great on display. It is in perfect condition with no damage of any kind.
I have taken lots of images were taken for your inspection.
