This is another lovely Scottish glass paperweight that I am currently listing on my Iconic Edinburgh online store.
As you can see it is beautifully made and was created by Strathearn Glass.
This Strathearn weight dates to the 1970s and has a small inky cobalt blue base colour. The base is slightly more translucent than opaque ones that are more commonly found.
The canes are beautifully placed with ten fine and delicate spiral latticino twists, which radiate like spokes from the central rosette.
The central millefiori rosette is green and white in colour. The latticino twists are white - and in between each twist and more millefiori canes. The weight has a little polished pontil mark to the center.
A very attractive vintage Scottish glass paperweight.
It measures 2 1/4 inches in height with a diameter of 3 inches.
The paperweight is in good vintage condition with no chips, or cracks. It has one really tiny scratch to the side of the weight - this is hardly visible and only a couple of millimeters in length. It is not seen on display. I have taken this into account with my pricing.
It will cost £4.95 to post to you in the UK. This will be with Royal Mail Recorded Post and applied to your order at checkout.
