This is another pretty piece of Victorian Scottish pottery - made by Robert Heron & Sons / Methven Pottery / Links Pottery, Kirkcaldy.
It is one of a group of antique Scottish pottery vessels in this attractive pattern that I have for sale online.
This one is a very simple piece - and takes the form of a milk jug or creamer. It is the larger of two similar shapes I have listed. These Methven pieces date to around 1900 - so now over 120 years old.
Dimensions: The height to the top of the spout is 3 1 /2 inches. From handle to spout it is just under 5 1/2 inches
Code: M
This little jug is in good antique condition. It has no chips or cracks and is a nice attractive example for display. There is a price sticker still on the bottom which gives the price that the previous owner paid for this - so you can see that my one is a fair one.
Robert Methven Heron was the owner of the Fife Pottery in Kirkcaldy. He introduced a new pottery range called Wemyss Ware in 1882.
It is certainly a very fresh hand-painted pattern.
The price to post in the UK will be £4.95 - this is with Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded and applied to your order at checkout.
If you would like more than one of my Heron / Methven items - I can cap multiple purchases at £10 in the UK.
