These are attractive antique Scottish pottery items - a tall beaker and little saucer. They are made by Mak Merry.
They each have a matching pattern with white prunus flowers on a pink background around the rim.
I have a couple of teapots in this pattern on offer on my online site.
They date to around the 1920s / 1930s and are hand-painted.
They are painted on pottery "blanks" - and are signed on the base: Mak Merry
The china blanks were probably made and supplied by Maling and Sons, Newcastle-on-Tyne.
Dimensions: The height of the beaker is 3 3/4 inches and the diameter at the top is 3 inches. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches.
CONDITION: They are both in fine condition and display well. No chips or cracks.
These are such lovely Mak Merry ceramics - and they are listed at a fair price for these vintage Scottish Art Pottery pieces.
