These are three matching little antique Scottish pottery plates.
On offer here are all the plates shown in the photographs.
They date to around the 1920s / 1930s and are hand-painted.
They are painted on pottery "blanks" - and are signed on the base: RA (for Richard Amour) and Bough. They have the number: 53 Y on the reverse of each plate.
The china blanks were probably made and supplied by Maling and Sons, Newcastle-on-Tyne.
These cheerful side plates are very pretty, with a yellow band around the rim - with little brown dashes. There is a little hand-painted vignette of brightly colored rainbow fuchsias.
The diameter is 7 inches. The height is 1 1/4 inches.
CONDITION: They are in a fine vintage condition - there is a little craquelure to the glaze - which is common with Bough pieces - it is most visible in the white areas and base. Perhaps not wee dishes for everyday use - but would be fine for serving up dry foodstuffs or just for display. I have them priced at £15 each - which is a fair price for these vintage Scottish Art Pottery pieces.
UK Postage with Royal Mail Recorded will be £5.50 and applied at the checkout.
