This is a stylish vintage lamp dating to the late 1950s or 1960s.
It is an elegant minimalistic shape and a smaller size perfect for a small table or bureau - or perhaps a dressing table in a Scandi-modern interior. The lamp is made of a solid piece of heavy teak and the grain is just beautiful, as is the rich colour. I have taken a few close-up photos so you can see all the graining to the wood.
There are no maker's names on this lamp that I can see - but stylistically I always believed it to be Scandinavian / G-Plan Style and dates to the 1960s.
It is in good vintage condition. There is one very ting ding to one section near the base (it is photographed for your inspection). The wood has a natural satin finish with no dulling to the patina.
The height is from base to top of the bulb holder is just over 9 3/4 inches - it has a diameter of just under 3 1/2 inches at the base.
It has a new electrical flex. There is about 2 meters of cable on the lamp - so you can move it to a socket easily. There is an on-off switch in the bulb holder. It comes with a very simple new white drum shade (you need to use a low-wattage LED bulb with this shade). The bulb holder takes a B22 bayonet light bulb.
It would have to be sent to UK addresses only. It will cost £6.95 to send to you with Royal Mail Recorded Post (Medium Parcel) and this will be applied to your order at the checkout.
