This is a rare Staffordshire model of Napoleon Bonaparte - which dates to around the 1850s / 1860s.
It is more unusual as these heroic figure models often focussed more on British historical figures and events.
This wee model shows the Emperor wearing his iconic bicorn hat. He wears a blue great coat, green waistcoat, white breeches and knee-high black boots. He is shown on a military campaign wearing a cloak with a rose-pink lining. He holds in his hand a little short yellow-coloured baton. His other hand is held behind his back.

This figurine is finely modeled in the round - so not a flatback version. The painting of the face is very fine. It is certainly a very attractive little piece of antique Staffordshire pottery.
Dimensions: the overall height is 7 3/4 inches. The base measures about 2 3/4 inches.
It is in perfect condition with no damage. The figurine has been slip cast - and as such is open at the base, as photographed.
My price is a very fair one and reflects the rarity of this particular model and its excellent condition - probably more of an item for a specialist collector..
