This is a lovely vintage 1970s Scottish paperweight. It is made by Perthshire / Strathearn Paperweights.
It does not have a P cane - but not all early Perthshire weights did always have a cane in them. I think that this is a PP1 design by Perthshire rather than a Strathearn one.
This is a particular favourite weight with me - as the colours are so pretty and with a more unusual pastel colour combination.
It is about 1 3/4 inches in height and with a diameter at the widest point of about 2 1/2 inches.
The ground is a sweet pale buttercup yellow colour with a central pontil mark on the base (as photographed)
It has a total of nine short-length spokes with latticinio twists in white and blue. There is a central cane is a sugar pink shade with a first outer ring of lemon yellow and the second ring of the rosette of periwinkle blue and rose pink. There are canes in each section between the spokes - these are the palest of yellows, pink and blue tones.
It is in fine vintage condition for display - no chips or cracks or surface scratches.
This beautiful weight looks even nicer in "real life" than in my photographs.
