This listing is for a SINGLE Glass but I have three available as photographed. (Code D).
They are for claret - or you could use them for a slightly smaller glass of white wine or fancy cocktail.
The pattern looks very contemporary - and it is called "Eileen". Each glass has been hand-blown and then deep engraved to form a stylish pattern.
The "Eileen" design was first introduced in 1968 and discontinued in 2017. It consists of a chunky base with a deeply engraved star on it. The bowl is flared in shape.
Each glass is 5 1/4 inches in height. The diameter across the rim is 3 1/2 inches. The foot is 2 3/4 inches. Each glass is about 280 grams in weight.
Each glass has an etched Waterford signature on the base - but as the base has an almost engraved star on it - it is difficult to see the mark. But it is there- you have to just catch it in the light.
It is now difficult to find a complete set in such fine condition. I am listing them at a very fair price of £30 per glass. I have three available - so listing singly as you might just be looking for one as a spare to replace a broken one in your own set.
Each glass is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, stains, or blooming to the interior. You will be pleased with them. I have taken lots of images for your inspection- with all the linear cut facets - it was tricky to photograph them. But I hope they give you a good idea of what they look like.
Please see my other vintage Waterford glasses available on my site.
UK Postage will be with Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. This will cost £4.95 and applied to your order at the checkout. I would hope to cap the postage at this amount for more than one glass.
