This is a fabulous coffee pot - it is made by the Melitta Company in Germany and dates to the 1960s or early 1970s. It is an amazing shape - and of course could also be used as a stylish teapot.
It is a nice dark blue colour all over with the blue sunflower pattern on the lid - as photographed.
It is a fabulous pattern - very like the Prunus pattern made by Gustavsberg in Denmark about the same time.
Dimensions: Handle to spout is 8 1/4 inches. Height is 7 inches. The diameter at the widest is 5 1/2 inches.
I also have three trios available as well as a single cup and saucer (with plain oblong side plate).
