This is a fabulous cup and saucer - which comes with a plain blue oblong side plate.
Great for having a small coffee or espresso cup and little biscuits or sandwiches.
It is made by the Melitta Company in Germany and dates to the 1960s or early 1970s.
It is a fabulous pattern - very like the Prunus pattern made by Gustavsberg in Denmark at about the same time.
The decoration is all hand applied and the pieces are all slightly different.
Dimensions: The saucer is 4 3/4 inches. The cup is 2 1/2 inches in height by 2 3/4 inches in diameter.
The side plate is 8 1/2 inches by 5 1/4 inches.
